WCU Teacher Participates in International Symposium
Tural Velizadeh, a lecturer at the School of Political Sciences at Western Caspian University took part in the Second International Guba Scientific Symposium on 10th -11th September 2021 held in ‘Genocide Memorial Complex’ in the city of Guba entitled ‘20th century Turkish-Muslim genocides, Azerbaijani-Turkish relations from the liberation of Baku by the Caucasian Islamic Army, to the victory of Karabakh’.
Valizadeh made a scientific report on ‘March genocide through the eyes of non-Azerbaijanis’ at the symposium. He spoke about the research of statements of special importance in terms of the assessment of Baku residents and foreign citizens of different nationalities of the genocide committed in March 1918 in Baku, based on the documents of the Emergency Investigation Commission, which acted under the Government of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and their involvement in the investigation.
