Procurement Department
The Department is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, education legislation, other normative legal acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Charter of the University and of the Founder’s Council, of the Guardians Council, decisions of the Great Council’s orders, and directives of the Rector of the University. In performing the functions defined by this Regulation, the Department’s activities with other structural units of the University, government agencies, juridical and physical persons are upheld.
The department performs the following functions:
- Provides associates with work positions to take steps for improving the technical base of the University
- Organises control over the application of all economic operations of the University
- Provides development in the field of economic activity
- Operates in other areas as determined by law.
The main tasks of the Department are:
- To prepare University correspondence on economic issues and to organise their dispatch to relevant organisations and departments
- To organise security and current and capital repairs of administrative and other buildings of the University.
