WCU has been accepted as a member of the Academy of Environmental Law of the International Union
Western Caspian University continues its successful activities within the framework of its internationalisation strategy. As part of this activity, the University became a member of the Academy for Environmental Law of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
The academy was founded in 2006 in Ottawa, Canada.
The headquarters of the academy is located at the University of Maryland, USA. IUCN Academy of Environmental Law is an institution with a unique position in building the capacity of environmental law education and promoting the conceptual development of environmental legislation.
