What documents are required for registration?
The following documents are required for registration:
- Original high school diploma
- 6 photos (size 3x4 cm)
- Copy of ID card
- For male applicants: military service reference or a copy of military enlistment certificate
- Tuition fee payment
- Applicant ID number and password
Who is eligible for free education?
- Individuals awarded the title of “War Veteran” for participating in combat operations for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Children of individuals who became disabled defending the territorial integrity, independence, or constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan, or who died, went missing during military operations, or were declared deceased by court;
- Members of martyr families
- Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the status of internally displaced persons;
- Orphans and children deprived of parental care, as well as individuals from this group
- Persons with disabilities whose body functions are impaired by 61–100%, including those with disabilities under the age of 18 and those with disabilities studying in vocational institutions; • Individuals under the age of 20 whose parent(s) have 81–100% functional disability and whose monthly income is below the subsistence minimum;
- Children (including those in utero on the date of relocation) who were relocated from exclusion or evacuation zones, as well as children under 18:
– born after April 26, 1986,
– whose parent(s) participated in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident,
– or who were affected by the Chernobyl disaster and were likely exposed to radiation.
Are there state-funded (government-sponsored) study places?
Yes, state-funded places are available for all programs.
Which majors are offered under Admission Group V this year?
At our university, the design major is offered under Group V. Applicants choosing Group V are not required to take a talent (aptitude) test.
Does Western Caspian University support students studying abroad?
Western Caspian University participates in various exchange programs. Our international cooperation network includes more than 200 educational institutions worldwide. These partnerships include Erasmus+, Mevlana exchange programs, masters courses, summer schools of various formats and content, and more. We provide maximum support for students pursuing education abroad. This support is offered both through student exchange programs and through dual-degree programs with four leading global universities, as well as a triple-degree MBA program (which also includes a dual-degree component).
