Research has been initiated within the framework of the project "Pollution dynamics of the Caspian Sea and coastal regions and its impact on biodiversity", organized by the West Caspian University.
A group of scientists and experts from the Ministry of Defense Industry's National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Ecology Institute and the Ministry of Science and Education's Zoology, Microbiology, and Geography Institute started with the university's research group. Employees at the experience base of the Scientific Research Center for Caspian Sea Problems of the Western Caspian University are also participating in the project.
