Western Caspian University donated to Turkey
Western Caspian University has donated US$30,000 (₺570,000) to our sister country in connection with the earthquake that struck southeastern Turkey and caused large-scale destruction and numerous casualties.
The decision to donate was taken at the meeting of the University's Board of Trustees and the transfer was carried out yesterday.
“We wish God's mercy to those who died during the tragedy, patience to their relatives, and we wish the wounded a speedy recovery. The two brother countries, which are side by side in the most pleasant and the most difficult days, are also side by side in today's difficult days. We believe that brother Turkey will leave difficult days behind him" - states the decision of the Council.
