Design workshop

At Western Caspian University, the Design School has a specially equipped computer room for interior designers and graphic designers. These rooms are equipped with computers that have the latest design software, providing students with an excellent environment to develop both practical and theoretical knowledge in both fields. The programs used in these computer rooms reflect the latest trends in both interior and graphic design, enabling students to enhance their professional skills.
The first of these programs is AutoCAD. AutoCAD is considered an essential tool for interior designers. This program provides all the technical details necessary for designing and planning modern spaces. Students learn how to visualize their ideas accurately. Additionally, SketchUp is also used. SketchUp is a simple and convenient program for 3D design and modeling. With this program, students can easily construct the volume and structure of spaces and work interactively with various elements.
In the field of graphic design, Adobe Photoshop provides students with extensive opportunities for image editing and manipulation. Photoshop also offers tools needed for creating visual compositions, enhancing photographs, and producing digital artwork. On the other hand, Adobe Illustrator is widely used for vector graphics creation. This program allows students to fully express their creativity in logos, posters, and other visual projects.
Another important program for interior designers is 3ds Max. This software is an invaluable tool for students who want to specialize in 3D modeling and visualization. 3ds Max provides realistic lighting and detailed visualizations, ensuring excellent presentation of design projects.
CorelDRAW is another popular program for creating vector graphics. This software is particularly used in print and advertising design, allowing students to create designs in various formats.
Finally, the V-Ray rendering engine, used in interior design and 3D visualization, deserves special mention. V-Ray provides perfect lighting, shadows, and material rendering, ensuring high-quality presentation of designs.
Projectors play a crucial role in teaching. Projectors are widely used to present visual information clearly and effectively to students. Through projectors, presentations, slides, and design examples are displayed during lessons, helping students understand the material better and learn visually. These technological facilities enable students to acquire professional knowledge in both fields and prepare high-quality presentations.
The magnificent projects consisting of students; diploma works are exhibited as an impressive display in the universitys auditoriums. These works, which reflect students; creativity and skills at the highest level, decorate the auditorium walls, vividly showcasing their efforts and intellectual potential. These projects represent the most significant and beautiful outcome of students; educational journey, carrying traces of a professional designers experience and creative thinking. The works displayed on the walls not only demonstrate students; development but also inspire them for their future careers. Each project attracts attention with its aesthetic appeal and functional aspects, drawing the interest of everyone entering the auditorium and highlighting students; artistic and professional growth.
