Discussions held on development of bilateral and multilateral relations between German universities and WCU
Discussions were held on the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between Western Caspian University and German universities.
Notably, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University, Professor Huseyn Bagirov, held meetings in several universities in Germany at the invitation of the academic exchange program - DAAD organization, which offers a comprehensive range of scholarship programs in Germany.
During the visit, H. Bagirov had meetings with the academic and administrative staff of Eberswalde University of Applied Sciences, Brandenburg University of Technology, Zwickau University of Applied Sciences, University of Applied Sciences Jena, Magdeburg-Stendhal University of Applied Sciences, as well as cooperation possibilities were considered on holding joint scientific research, student and teacher exchange, and a number of joint projects.
During the discussions on bilateral cooperative relations, the sides reached an agreement on joint activities, especially within the framework of dual diploma programs in engineering specialties in various areas.
Western Caspian University is currently working on the establishment of a German Language Center to allow our students participate not only in English-language programs, but also in German-language programs.
The parties also agreed on staff training under special preferential conditions with Zwickau University of Applied Sciences, University of Applied Sciences Jena, Magdeburg-Stendhal University of Applied Sciences and Schmalkalden University regarding engineering qualifications in the specialized agriculture, processing, device and equipment management and repair, which is particularly important for our country.
