A meeting was held at Western Caspian University with professors from the University of Zwickau, Germany.
A meeting was organized at the Western Caspian University with a delegation of professors from the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, Germany. The main purpose of the visit was to strengthen existing relations between the two universities, explore new cooperation opportunities, and expand international academic partnerships.
At the meeting, Professor Stefan Noak of the University of Zwickau gave a lecture on "Sustainable Development Management - Integrating Sustainability Goals into Companies' Target Systems" to students and faculty of the Western Caspian University. During the lecture, Professor Noak provided detailed information about the German higher education system, cooperation models between industry and universities, the latest innovations in the field of applied sciences, and international student exchange programs.
During the meeting, the main areas of cooperation between the parties were discussed. These include the implementation of joint research projects, the organization of joint conferences and seminars, the development of internship programs, and the expansion of student and faculty exchange programs. Also, preliminary agreements were reached on the development of future joint educational programs, especially dual diploma projects.
The leadership of Western Caspian University emphasized that they attach special importance to cooperation with German universities, and that integration into the European academic space and international experience will open new opportunities for local students and scholars.
Representatives of Zwickau University noted that Western Caspian University is an attractive partner for the German side as a higher education institution with modern infrastructure, a dynamic development strategy and open international relations. They expressed their intention to expand cooperation with Azerbaijani universities in the future.
The parties expressed their interest in holding further meetings in the near future to plan specific steps of cooperation.
