An event dedicated to the Khojaly Genocide held at Western Caspian University

A commemorative event dedicated to the Khojaly Genocide held at Western Caspian University. University administration, faculty and students attended the event. Huseyn Bagirov, Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, made a speech and spoke about the Khojaly tragedy and the international community's approach to this event.

It was emphasized that this tragedy is one of the most serious crimes against humanity not only in the history of Azerbaijan, but also in the history of all mankind. The event contributed to not forgetting the Khojaly tragedy, correctly conveying this historical event to the younger generation, and recognizing the truth at the international level. At the same time, he stressed the importance of jointly fighting for human rights and justice to prevent such tragedies from recurring in the future. At the end of the event, the participants commemorated the memory of the Khojaly martyrs with a minute of silence. There were also speeches, film screenings and presentations by students and teachers reflecting on the tragedy.

This event held at Western Caspian University, once again showed that we have not forgotten and will not forget the truths of Khojaly. The Azerbaijani people will continue their struggle for justice and will always remember the souls of the Khojaly victims.
