Western Caspian University

For the first time, Azerbaijan will host “Technofest”, the largest technology festival in the region. An informative seminar was organised about the event at the Western Caspian University by representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan.

It was reported at the seminar that ten competitions will be held at this year's festival:

* Robotechnics

* Green Technology (GreenTech)

* Agrarian Technologies (AgroTech)

* Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)

* Amateur satellite modelling

* Socially Oriented Technologies

* Smart Karabakh Hackathon

* Planer

* Baku Skills

* Cyber Cup

Who can participate?

* Senior school students;

* Students;

* Postgraduate students and university graduates;

* Startups and entrepreneurs.

The “Technofest” Festival co-organised by the Turkish Technological Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) led by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey and Baykar Makina Technical Director Selcuk Bayraktar is in partnership with more than 60 government agencies, universities and private companies in the region

of the brotherly country is and has been held annually since 2018.

Technology competitions in 35 categories as well as the TAKE OFF Startup Summit, air shows and concerts are organised within the festival.
