Our student research group studied the impact of geographical factors on mental development

The article “Comparative Study of Indicators of Mental Development of Primary School Children Living in Mountainous, Foothill and Coastal Areas”, authored by a research group of students led by Natavan Karamova, a teacher at the Department of Natural Sciences of Western Caspian University, Ph.D., has been indexed in the Scopus database.

 

The study shows that environmental factors significantly affect the mental stability, stress resistance and sensitive development of children. Mountainous regions provide a more favorable environment for the development of a stable nervous system and strong adaptive skills.

The article “Comparative study of indicators of mental development of primary school children living in mountainous, foothill and coastal areas” examines how geographical factors - for example, relief, climate and environment - affect the mental and neuropsychic development of 6-10-year-old primary school students.
