The first scientific conference of students called "Translators as Frontline Fighters" held
The first scientific conference of students entitled "Translators as Frontline Fighters" was organised by the Department of English Language and Translation of Western Caspian University.
Murad Aliyev, editor-in-chief of "Report" news agency, Vusal Isayev, editor of the agency's translation department, professors and teachers of the faculty of philology and translation, and students of the faculty participated in the conference as guests.
First, the head of the English language and translation department of the Western Caspian University, professor Tahira Aliyeva, spoke about the importance of the conference, then the editor-in-chief of the "Report" news agency, Murad Aliyev, gave a speech, and noted the role of translators in conveying the truth of Azerbaijan to the world during the 44-day Patriotic War.
Later, Gunel Gasimova, doctor of Philosophy, Western Caspian University, and Safura Isaeva, lecturer, gave speeches.
At the conclusion of the event, students made presentations on various topics.
