The conference dedicated to National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held in WCU
The XXIV Caspian Republican Scientific-Practical Conference dedicated to the 96th anniversary of National Leader, founder of the independent Azerbaijani state, founder of the Azerbaijani ideology Heydar Aliyev was held at the Western Caspian University.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the rector of the university, Professor Andris Leitas, noted that National Leader Heydar Aliyev is known as a genius politician in the world, as well as in the former USSR, and he played an important role in the fate of the Azerbaijani state and people. The rector noted that the Western Caspian University pays special attention to scientific research and tries to direct the existing scientific potential of the university to the field of research.
Professor Huseyngulu Bagirov, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Western Caspian University, spoke about the great leader's contribution to the establishment and strengthening of independent Azerbaijan, emphasizing the importance of the conference and the study of the great leader's political legacy.
The conference focused on the role of Heydar Aliyev in building a legal state of independent Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev and the history of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan's domestic policy course, foreign policy concept, Heydar Aliyev and economic reforms of independent Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev factor in the development of science, education and culture, Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani literature, Heydar Aliyev and our national and moral values, Heydar Aliyev and the oil strategy of the independent Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan - as a model of multiculturalism and other topics were discussed. Along with the Western Caspian University students and masters from Baku State University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Azerbaijan Medical University, Azerbaijan State Economic University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sumgayit State University, Baku Eurasian University, Baku Slavic University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts, Baku Engineering University, Baku Business University participated the conference.
