The conference was held in memory of Muslim Magomayev
On 24 October 2016, Western University hosted a conference dedicated to the memory of great singer Muslim Magomayev.
Head of the WU Design Department Parvana Aliyeva greeted the guests and declared opening of the event.
The Western University professor - teaching staff as well as "Muslim Magomayev sings" movie artist, National Artist of Azerbaijan Rafiz Ismayilov, head of the Painting Department of the UAC, professor Elturan Avalov, Head teacher of the Design Department Ramiz Ashurly, the teacher of the Music school named after Bul-Bul, musicologist Leyla Ibrahimova, as well as a fan of Muslim Magomayev Tatyana Bogdanova and other guests from St. Petersburg and Moscow also attended the meeting.
An exhibition dedicated to the great singer consisting of creative works by the students of "Design" faculty was presented and "living legend - Muslim" film was shown.
