An International Education Forum organised by Western Caspian University and Times Higher Education
Western Caspian University and Times Higher Education, one of the world’s most prestigious rating organisations, jointly hosted an international education forum.
Researchers, professors, experts from the USA, Germany, Britain, China, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Portugal, Pakistan, Malaysia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, etc. participated physically and online, in the forum dedicated to the theme "Partners for a sustainable future".
Wonda Grobbelaar, Head of Quality Assurance in Education at Western Caspian University, Professor Huseyn Bagirov, Firudun Hamdullahpour, former President of the University of Waterloo, Canada, Nijat Mammadli, Advisor to the Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Andy Poole, Director of International Relations of the "Coursera" Company, Vafa Kazdal, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of ADA University, the rector of Tashkent INHA University, Loretta O'Donnell, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Nazarbayev University, Meher Janeen Agha, the head of the Quality Assurance Department of the Central Punjab University of Pakistan, Keklik Gozalova, the Vice-Rector of Western Caspian University, and others spoke about the new challenges facing education, including, education and technologies, the increasing use of online education, as well as challenges, risks and possible solutions arising from the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
