Web Conference: Education is the Future of the Nation
WCU hosted a national scientific web conference on ‘Education is the future of the nation’ dedicated to the 97th anniversary of National Leader,
Heydar Aliyev.
WCU Professor Fikret Sadikhov opened the conference with a salute to the essential role of the great leader in the establishment and strengthening of independent Azerbaijan, noting the importance of such conferences for studying the legacy of the great politician leader.
Chairman, Board of Trustees, Professor Huseyn Baghirov spoke about the great leader’s contribution to the formation of the Azerbaijani ideology, the strengthening of Azerbaijan, and his active participation in the international political and economic processes.
Professor Baghirov mentioned that the reforms carried out in our country today and the processes taking place in the world have created important challenges for universities and higher education institutions, which must conduct training in accordance with the requirements of the new era while contributing to the development of the country.
The conference was attended by teachers and researchers from various educational institutions and research institutions.
There were presentations on various activities of the great politician, as well as covering various socio-humanitarian spheres, and the exchange of views.
