Nazim Samedov
Nazim Samedov, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism.
He graduated from Western University in 2006 with a master's degree in international law with honors.
In 2004-2006 he worked as a senior consultant and deputy headof the international relations department of the cultural policy department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 2006-2011, he worked as the head of the sector of the department of international relations and cultural programs of the newly established Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and
then he continued his career as the head of the department. Nazim Samedov is a member of the intergovernmental commissions between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Montenegro and theRepublic of Korea. He is a Coordinator of the GUAM Working Group of Culture and Tourism (2013-2015).
He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (2013-2016, 2018 until now).
In January 2017, he was appointed as the head of the Secretariat of the Tourism Council of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.
Since February 2018, he is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the National Tourism Promotion Bureau.
Since 2011, he has been the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
