Physics and Electronics Laboratory

The course "Physics and Electronics" is equipped with modern devices that meet the requirements for all sections. Each laboratory work is provided with physical and electronic devices corresponding to the goal of the work, and the results of the experiment are directly output to the computer.

Depending on the type of research, the dependencies between physical quantities are displayed directly on the sensor in both tabular and graphical form. The results calculated by the students are checked against the values given in the literature. Also, several groups of students can independently perform different laboratory works.

Laboratory Sessions:

  1. Physical measurements, errors, types, and calculations.
  2. Study of the law of conservation of momentum.
  3. Study of the law of conservation of energy using Maxwell’s dance.
  4. Determination of the acceleration due to gravity using a mathematical pendulum.
  5. Determination of the frequency of vibration of a tuning fork.
  6. Determination of the surface tension coefficient of liquids using the drop method.
  7. Determination of the thermal conductivity coefficient of solid bodies.
  8. Determination of the force of interaction of charges (Coulombs law).
  9. Determination of the electrical capacitance of a parallel plate capacitor.
  10. Determination of the transformation and efficiency coefficient of a transformer.
  11. Study of the phenomenon of self-induction, Lenzs law.
  12. Determination of the wavelength of light using a diffraction grating.
  13. Study of the photoelectric effect and determination of Plancks constant.
