A meeting with climbers will be held on the occasion of International Mountain Day
An event on the occasion of the International Mountain Day will be held at the Western Caspian University.
An exhibition of photos of the university's mountain expeditions as well as a meeting of climbers, will be held at the event on the 10th of December at 10:00.

On the initiative of the UN General Assembly, December 11 has been celebrated as the International Day of Mountains since 2003.
The purpose of celebrating such a day every year is to raise awareness of the global importance of mountain systems for society.
"Mountain Day", is attracting public attention and creating conditions for initiatives to solve relevant issues.The day in 2020-2021, is dedicated to Sustainable Mountain Tourism.
