WCU students have an opportunity to study on a State-funded or paid basis. We offer discounts for entrants who have achieved high results in entrance exams and cannot be admitted by State-funding:
1) Students who score between 601 and 700 points: free education for 4 years
2) Those who score between 551 and 600: 70% discount (free education for 4 years if English language is at an advanced level)
3) Those who score between 501 and 550: 50 percent discount (free education for 4 years if English is at an advanced level)
4) Those who score between 451 and 500 points: 30 percent discount (free education for 4 years if English is at an advanced level)
5) Students who score between 380 and 450 points: 20 percent discount
* After the first academic year, at the end of each semester, students with an average score of not less than 81 will continue to receive discounts. This discount is applied to paragraphs 2, 3 and 4.
Scholarships for high-scoring students:
1) Students who score between 450 and 500 points- 50 manats
2) Those who score between 501 and 550 points- 80 manats
3) Those who score between 551 and 600 points- 100 manats
4) Those who score between 601 and 650 points- 150 manats
5) Those who score between 651 and 700 points- 200 manats
* Scholarships will be recalculated at the end of each semester based on the results of exams according to the University's internal scholarship programme. This will also be applied to students studying under the state order but not getting scholarship due to average achievement.
* Applicants who ranked WCU in first place in the selection of specialties will receive a 10% discount on education in the first academic year.
Students with privileged status:
Tuition fee for the children of citizens who were disabled during the protection of territorial integrity, independence and constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan; died for the freedom, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan; missing in connection with military operations and declared dead by the court shall be paid from the state budget in the amount of education expenses approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on June 25th, 2010 No. 120.
Tuition fee for students who have lost both parents; students under the age of 23 and deprived of parental care or one parent has died and the other parent is a disabled person of group I or II, shall be paid in full from the State budget.
Tuition fee for persons with disabilities of the I and II degree, as well as children with disabilities under the age of 18 are paid in full, from the State budget.
