WCU Students at Virtual Student Success Forum
Western Caspian University students participated in the Virtual Student Success Forum entitled ‘Rediscovering the University Experience for 2020 & the Coming Years’ on September 18th, 2020, organized by Times Higher Education (THE).
The event consisted of two virtual stages. The one-day forum analysed the following: How have students’ experiences changed in the Covid-19 environment, and how will this continue in the short and long term?
Discussions were held on the process of adaptation of universities to the new situation, as well as student learning, exchange of knowledge and becoming an active member of the university community. At the same time as part of the forum a key question was “What progress has been made in the transition to an online environment and what will be the impact for long-term university strategy?"
