Students of Western Caspian University visited the Autism Center
Students of the School of Psychology at Western Caspian University visited an Autism Center.
The visit was conducted within the framework of the course “Defectology,” with the aim of strengthening practical knowledge on the topic “General Characteristics of Children with Complex Disorders.”
During the visit, students became closely acquainted with the center’s activities, types of therapy, and working principles with children, and observed the specialists’ work processes in practice.
They also explored rooms dedicated to simulation activities, music therapy, and the development of daily living skills, which generated significant interest among the students.
During the practical session, students had the opportunity to interact directly with patients and observe their developmental processes.
At the end of the visit, students’ questions were addressed, and a commemorative group photo was taken.
