Winners of Essay Writing Competition Announced
The winners of this semester’s essay writing competition at the Department of English Language & Literature have been announced. During a ceremony on Tuesday, pupils who had taken part in the competition received certificates.
Nearly 100 essays on the following topics were handed in:
- What do our clothes tell about us?
- What are my dreams for the future?
- Why is charity important?
- The significance of music in life.
The three winners of the competition are: Maryam Mirili (school 299- first place), Leyli Mammadova (school 300- second place) and Zeynab Suleymanli (school 217- third place).
The next essay writing competition of the Department of English Language & Literature will take place next year.
