Amirkhan Zahid oglu Pashayev was born on October 6, 1975, in the city of Bolnisi, Republic of Georgia. From 1991 to 1997, he received a full higher education at the Faculty of Accounting and Economics of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. From 2013 to 2017, he pursued doctoral studies at the same university. His dissertation topic is: “Directions for Improving the Efficiency of Investments in Azerbaijans Transport Sector.” He is currently in the final stage before defending his dissertation.
He is the author of more than 20 scientific articles and 1 methodological manual.
At present, he works as a full-time lecturer at the Department of Tourism and Sectoral Economics of Western Caspian University.
