Education and Professional Experience:

Durdana Rustamova was born on January 15, 1963, in the village of Qilishli, Kelbajar district. She received her secondary education at Qilishli village school from 1970 to 1980. From 1981 to 1986, she studied Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Azerbaijan Technical University and earned her degree as an electrical engineer.

From 1986 to 2004, she worked as a technologist and adjustment engineer at the “Neftqazavtomat” experimental plant in Baku city. Between 2004 and 2010, she served as a senior lecturer at Azerbaijan International University. From 2010 to 2020, she worked as a lecturer at the Academies of the State Border Service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. In 2010, she was a postgraduate student at the Radiation Problems Institute.

In 2016, she successfully defended her dissertation on "The effect of magnetic field and γ-radiation on the electroactive properties of polymer composites," earning the degree of PhD in Physics.

Since 2020, she has been serving as Deputy Dean of the School of High Technologies and Innovative Engineering at West Caspian University. Since 2021, she has been the head of the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics at West Caspian University. She is the author of 39 scientific articles, textbooks, and course programs.
