Since 2021, Gunel Mammadli has been working as the Project Manager of the Programming Group at the Azerbaijan Technical University. She has also been engaged in teaching activities at higher education institutions since 2022. In 2024, she began her pedagogical career as a lecturer at Western Caspian University.
She has participated as a mentor in the "Skills for the Future" project. In 2022, the team she mentored achieved first place in Azerbaijan and won third place at the WRO (World Robot Olympiad) held in Dortmund, Germany. In 2023, the team she led won first place in a startup competition among 12 universities.
