Sabira Nematzade was born on August 14, 1969, in Baku.
From 1988 to 1993, she studied Philology at Baku State University and received her bachelors degree. From 1998 to 2001, she completed postgraduate studies in the History of Philosophy at the same university.

In 2010, she defended her dissertation on “The Worldview of Seyid Imadeddin Nasimi as an Object of Study in the History of Philosophy” and was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy. Since 2017, she has been working on her doctoral dissertation (Doctor of Sciences program) titled “Issues of National Ideology in the Philosophical Thought of Turkic Peoples in the Early 20th Century.”

During her academic career, she has authored more than 50 scientific articles and 3 monographs. She has participated in over 20 international scientific conferences, and 15 of her articles have been published in foreign academic journals.

Since 2024, she has been working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy, Western Caspian University.

Teaching Areas: European Philosophy, History of Philosophical Thought of Turkic Peoples, Ancient Eastern Philosophy, Islamic Philosophy, German Classical Philosophy, Modern Philosophy, Ethics and Aesthetics, Introduction to Multiculturalism.
