A PhD candidate at Swansea University, United Kingdom, delivered a Seminar for WCU Students

A seminar on “Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights” was delivered to master’s level students of Western Caspian University by Ruslan Asadov, a PhD candidate at Swansea University (United Kingdom).

The rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies, their impact on society and human life, as well as the opportunities and risks they may pose in relation to human rights were extensively discussed.

Key issues such as the legal and ethical aspects of artificial intelligence, data protection, risks of discrimination, as well as transparency and accountability in decision-making processes were brought to the attention of the participants.

Organized in an interactive discussion format, the seminar provided students with the opportunity to ask questions and share their perspectives on the topic.

Such events are significant not only for deepening students’ theoretical knowledge but also for fostering a scientific understanding of the multifaceted impact of modern technologies on law and society.
