Conference dedicated to the 93rd anniversary of National leader Heydar Aliyev
Republican Scientific Conference on "Heydar Aliyev and achievements of independent Azerbaijan” dedicated to the 93rdanniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held at Western University co-organized with ANAS Institute of History after A.A.Bakikhanov and ANAS Philosophy and Law Institute on 7 May, 2016.
Prior to the conference, conference participants visited national leader Heydar Aliyev’s grave.
The Rector of Western University, associate professor Zenfira Mammadova spoke about national leader Heydar Aliyev’s contribution to Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani nation, the perfect state mechanism that Heydar Aliyev laid foundation for state independence and development.
Zenfira Mammadova also noted that as educational institutions they support the policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev and implement the guidance of Heydar Aliyev to train high-level professionals.
Then the participants of the conference made speech and discussions about Heydar Aliyev’s domestic and foreign policy accomplishments, the role of Azerbaijan in world politics, successful policy implemented in all fields, including science, education, economy, culture and so on.
