Conference on "Modern Problems of Linguistics" was held at Western University
Conference on "Modern Problems of Linguistics” organized by Azerbaijan national Academy of Science Institute of Linguistics after Nasimi, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and Western University was held at Western University on April 15, 2016.
Zenfira Mammadova, Western University Rector, Associate professor in her opening speech spoke about the problems that Azerbaijan faced today in condition of globalization, the role of major factors in the development of language, as well as statements about the capacity of existing staff.
Nizami Jafarov, head of the Ataturk Center, member of the Azerbaijani Parliament, doctor of philological sciences, professor, honored science worker; correspondent-member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan shared his thoughts about the language policy of National leader Heydar Aliyev based on nation-wide support.
Member of the Azerbaijani Parliament, the Milli Mejlis deputy chairman of the security and defense committee, Deputy Executive Director of the Secretariat of the Department of Political Analysis and Forecasting, Phd. in Political Sciences Aydin Mirzazadeh, spoke about language policy of the National Leader, Heydar Aliyev and appreciated Western University activities.
