Western Caspian University Discusses the Tasks Arising from the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party
An event was held at the territorial party organisation of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) at 27 Istiglaliyyat Street (Western Caspian University) to promote ideological work following the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party, communicate the tasks defined at the Congress to party members, and further expand the Party’s activities.
On 14 October 2026, Western Caspian University hosted an event dedicated to the tasks arising from the programmatic address delivered by His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party, at the Party’s 8th Congress.
The event was attended by the University’s leadership, the Chairperson and representatives of the Səbail District Organisation of the New Azerbaijan Party, academic staff, and students.
During the speeches, participants exchanged views on President Ilham Aliyev’s successful policies, the development of Azerbaijani statehood, the restoration of the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, national unity, traditions of statehood, and prospects for future development.
At the conclusion of the event, membership cards were presented to students of Western Caspian University who had recently joined the New Azerbaijan Party.
