WCU Design School Students Participate in Practical Training
Students of the Design School at Western Caspian University took part in a practical field visit within the framework of the courses “Environmental Design–1” and “Composition.” The visit was organized for practical training purposes at an interior design company as well as at a residential apartment undergoing renovation.
During the training, students became closely acquainted with real professional workflows and learned essential practical skills, including on-site measurement procedures, preparation of plans and project layouts, development of wall openings, functional zoning, and the step-by-step implementation of interior design solutions.
Key aspects such as material selection, consideration of communication systems, and attention to technical details were explained through hands-on practice.
This practical experience enabled students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world environment.
As a result, they enhanced their professional approach to project development, improved accuracy in measurement and proportion, and strengthened their teamwork skills and sense of responsibility.
