WCU Students Participate in a Literary Meeting with Seyran Səxavət

Students of the School of Philology and Translation at Western Caspian University, who are currently undertaking their internship at the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature, participated on 13 March in a literary meeting with the poet, writer, playwright, publicist, and translator Seyran Səxavət.

The meeting took place at the Central Scientific Library, where participants shared engaging memories, held sincere discussions on literature and creativity, and recited poetry. The students had the opportunity to communicate directly with the distinguished literary figure and to listen to his reflections on his creative journey and life experience.

Such meetings make an important contribution to the development of students’ literary outlook, the enhancement of their artistic thinking, and the strengthening of their professional competencies throughout the internship process.

Events of this nature, organized during the internship period, are of particular importance for future philologists. They not only allow students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real academic and cultural environment but also enable them to become closely acquainted with the literary milieu and gain valuable professional experience.
