A Scientific Article by WCU Student Published at the “XXI International Scientific Conference – Innovative Scientific Research” Held in Canada
Sakina Rustamova, a first-year undergraduate student majoring in Biology at the School of High Technologies and Innovation of Western Caspian University, has achieved notable academic success.
Her scientific article was published at the international conference entitled “XXI International Scientific Conference – Innovative Scientific Research,” held in Toronto, Canada.

The conference brought together participants from more than 40 countries around the world.
The student’s research highlights the innovative opportunities created by the application of artificial intelligence in agriculture, particularly in enhancing productivity, minimizing costs, and enabling more efficient resource management. The article examines sustainable and forward-looking solutions for global food security, including automated irrigation systems, drone-based crop monitoring, and artificial intelligence–driven analytics in livestock management.
As a result of her research on artificial intelligence applications in agriculture, Sakina Rustamova was awarded a certificate by the World of Conferences organization (Toronto). This achievement underscores the growing importance of scientific research in the field of smart agriculture.
In addition, she actively contributes as a volunteer with the Agrarian Development Volunteers organization, supporting the implementation of innovative technologies.
She has also been selected to participate in the “She Codes AI” project, jointly organized by Rabitabank and Matrix Academy.
Furthermore, she is a member of the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG).
