The Selection Stage of the Artistic Creativity Competition-Festival Held at WCU
The selection stage of the artistic creativity competition-festival, dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, was held at Western Caspian University among students of higher education institutions.
During the selection round, students performed in two categories: “Vocal” and “Choral Ensemble.”
A distinguished jury panel, composed of People’s Artists of Azerbaijan, Honored Art Workers, and prominent cultural figures, evaluated the performances.
The jury highly appreciated the students’ creativity and their stage performances prepared in a strong national spirit.
According to the results of the selection stage, participants who qualified for the final round will once again demonstrate their talents in the concluding stage to be held in the coming days.
The event is being implemented as a joint project of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Education Workers.
The main objective of the project is to instill a sense of national patriotism in young people, to educate them in the spirit of respect for our culture, art, and traditions, to contribute to the development of their artistic and aesthetic taste, to identify talented youth across various fields of art, and to support the development of their abilities.
It should be noted that in the 2024 and 2025 editions of the competition, the Choral Ensemble was awarded first place.
