In a remarkable development, Telman Zamanov, a second-year student specialising in Tourism at Western Caspian University, is set to further his education at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland during the upcoming semester through the "Erasmus+" exchange programme. The culmination of this competitive selection process was celebrated during a recent event, where Professor Huseyn Bagirov, the Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, shed light on the institution's international collaboration initiatives, its strategic vision for achieving pioneering educational standards, and the criteria used for selecting candidates for overseas study programmes.
It was revealed that the selection committee adopted a transparent and open approach in choosing the winners, considering three key criteria: students' academic performance, proficiency in the English language, and their involvement in social activities. This meticulous process ensures that the most deserving candidates are given the opportunity to represent Western Caspian University on the global stage.
During the event, Sevinc Mammadova, the Erasmus representative from the Department of International Relations, and Urfan Sarkarov, the Director of the Student Information Centre, also addressed the attendees, providing insights into the university's various projects and collaboration efforts. This occasion marked another step forward in Western Caspian University's commitment to fostering international partnerships and offering its students a world-class educational experience.
