Training: Media and Education Dialogue
On October 30, at the initiative of the Ministry of Education, a training session entitled ‘Media and Educational Dialogue: Professional Development’ was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ADNSU).
ADNSU Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli stressed the importance of the development of education in our country and spoke about the importance of media relations at the event attended by Ministry of Education and mass media representatives.
Vugar Rahimzadeh, member of the Azerbaijan Press Council, Editor-in-Chief of ‘Two Sahil’ Newspaper, spoke about the important role of education and media in the modern world and emphasised the importance of these projects in the development of our country. He added that there are great opportunities for the media in Azerbaijan especially today, sharing views on the rapidly developing electronic media.
Member of the Board of Directors of the Press Council, Editor-in-Chief of 525th newspaper Rashad Majid and other speakers spoke about the importance of educational and media relations and the importance of the training conference.
Then Head of Department of Baku State University Aynur Kerimova, Head of the Department of Internal Communication & Social Networks ADA University Shafag Mehraliyeva, Deputy Head of Information Department of Ministry of Education, Head of Mass Media Sector Valehov's ‘Monitoring of the Activities of Press Services of Higher Education Institutions’ was presented and trainings were held.
Naim Suleymanov represented Western University at the training.
