WCU Participates in QS Organisation Conference
The next meeting of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) was held on October 14th and 15th in Kaunas, Lithuania. About 150 delegates from the United States, Great Britain, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Lithuania and Turkey attended the conference, which discussed the problems and trends in the development of universities. Representatives of universities shared their experiences and exchanged views at the meetings.
The rating criteria set by the organisation at the conference were the subject of serious discussion. They deliberated why universities are falling in world rankings, including why the University of Kazakhstan cannot be included in the list of Europe and Central Asia.
Then networking meetings were held between the universities.
Western Caspian University participated in the conference to learn about trends in European and Asian universities. The conference was significant in terms of the establishment of new partnerships at WCU with several leading universities of the world.
