Ms. Khanım Aghayeva was born on October 2, 1984, in Baku, Azerbaijan. She graduated from secondary school in 2000. From 2000 to 2005, she studied at the Faculty of International Economic Relations at Western University, where she earned her bachelors degree. Between 2005 and 2007, she completed her masters degree in Finance at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). (Her thesis was titled: "Development Perspectives of the Insurance Market in Azerbaijan"). From 2014 to 2019, she was a PhD candidate at the Department of Industrial Economics at the Azerbaijan State University of Industry.

Since 2007, she has been involved in pedagogical activities. Since 2021, she has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Marketing and Management at Western Caspian University.
