Salman İbishov was born in 1969 in the village of Mircalal, Saatlı district. He graduated from secondary school in 1986. In 1996, he graduated with honors from the History Faculty of Baku State University named after M.A. Rasulzada. From 1996 to 1999, he pursued full-time postgraduate studies at Baku State University. He is the author of 10 scientific articles and course programs. Salman İbişov has published the following books:
“The Population of the Quba Khanate (Historical Demographic Study)”
“Quba Khanate: Population History and the Struggle for Freedom.”
Since 2020, he has worked as a lecturer in the Department of History and Philosophy at Western University.
