Sevda Binyat gizi Mammadova was born on October 14, 1977, in Baku. She received her secondary education and later studied at the Azerbaijan University of Construction Engineers from 1994 to 1998, earning a bachelors degree with honors in "Economic Management" from the Faculty of Construction Economics. In 1998, she was admitted to the masters program at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Faculty of Construction Economics, and graduated with honors.
She holds a Ph.D. in Economics and is the author of 110 scientific articles, 5 teaching manuals, 26 course syllabi, and 5 methodological guides.
She is currently working as an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Tourism and Sectoral Economics at Western Caspian University.
