Call for Papers: WCU Conference on English & American Studies
The Western Caspian University Department of English Language & Literature invites researchers and instructors from all Azerbaijani universities to participate in the First WCU National Conference on English and American Studies. The conference is dedicated to the perspectives and future development in the field of English & American Studies in Azerbaijan. We are therefore explicitly asking young researchers and teachers (including Ph.D. candidates) to send in their papers. We will accept contributions from MA students. The best paper will be selected both for presentation and subsequent publication.
The conference is meant to bring together researchers and teachers of English & American Studies from different universities in Azerbaijan. The idea is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas on the current situation and on challenges as well as on perspectives and the further development of English & American Studies in the country.
The conference will cover Anglophone Literatures & Cultural Studies, Linguistics, Translation Studies, Teaching Methodology & SLA, and may serve as a starting point for an ongoing and enriching academic debate between teachers and researchers from various institutions.
