Department of Legal Affairs
The main functions of the department are:
· To ensure that activities of the University are performed according to legislation
· To organise the creation of the normative-legal base of the University's activities
· To prepare internal regulations and to control their implementation
· To organise the preparation of contracts required by the University, to provide preparation of other legal documents
· To provide for the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the University in courts, other government agencies, individuals and legal entities on the basis of a letter of attorney
· To organise and perform legal analysis, to give opinions on draft protocols, contracts, orders, decrees and other documents
· To carry out and manage legal tasks and normative-legal support work by the structural units of the University, also by the institutions, departments and organisations assigned to the University
· To give instructions and advice to structural units and employees of the University on legal issues
· Inform relevant structures of the University by following changes in the legislation.
