The aim of the Bachelor Programme in Mechanical Engineering is to educate mechanical engineers who will be able to design and make new products and processes as well as improve and optimise current technologies.

The programme covers the design of various machine parts, mechanical transfer, principles of machine industry, advanced processing methods in mechanical engineering, types of tools and machines, equipment installation and maintenance technology, production and environmental safety, the quantitative and qualitative analysis of hazardous and anthropogenic factors of production.

The programme includes the study of principles and methods of the technical and economic substantiation in production, the analysis of new technological processes and the principles of efficient use of natural resources and environment, and the development of the environmentally-friendly technology.

Students will be trained to use modern programme software and will get comprehensive knowledge of the automated design systems such as AutoCAD and other modern brand automation software.


Upon the successful completion of the program, graduates can pursue their careers in governmental structures (Ministry of Ecology and Natural resources, Ministry of Agriculture), textile and light industries metal processing, oil and gas processing industries.
