The Bachelor of Economics program is a multidisciplinary full-time curriculum that systematically teaches students the allocation, protection, and production of resources, along with related organizational structures, when needed. The program includes economic theory, micro and macro economics, world economy and Azerbaijani economy, finance and audit, banking and management. The purpose of the bachelor's program in economics is to acquaint students with the economic aspects of modern society and methods of analysis of contemporary economic problems.

Students will develop analytical and mathematical skills, as well as critical thinking. The main focus is on solving financial and monetary problems.

To earn a degree, students must complete a pre-diploma internship and defend a dissertation.

Students who successfully complete the program can work in international companies, financial institutions, banks, insurance companies, insurance and audit firms.


  • Regulation of the economy, price and price formation, human resource management;

Students majoring in economics can work as economists, mainly in government agencies and various enterprises, regardless of the form of ownership. In addition, graduates can work as specialists in any field of production, organizations, departments, enterprises, associations, ministries and committees of the economic bloc, as well as in the field of finance and business, regardless of their affiliation.
