Guliyeva Naila Mammadaga was born on August 21, 1976 in Baku. From 1983 to 1993, she received secondary education at school number 39. From 1993 to 1997, she received a bachelors degree at the Faculty of Chemistry of Baku State University. From 1997 to 1999, she continued her masters degree there (the title of the scientific work: "Some features of the triple co-polymerization of maleic anhydride, styrene and allylphenyl ether"). From 2000 to 2003, she was a postgraduate student at the Department of Chemistry of High Molecular Compounds of the Faculty of Chemistry of Baku State University. In 2008, she successfully defended her scientific work "Third co-polymerization of maleic anhydride, styrene and allylphenyl ether" and received the title of Candidate of Chemical Sciences. He worked as a teacher at the Department of Chemistry of the State University of Azerbaijan in 2010-15, and at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2014-17. Since 2018, he has been a teacher at the Department of Natural Sciences of the Western Caspian University, and since 2020, he has been the head of the Department of Natural Sciences of the Western Caspian University. He currently works as the dean of the School of High Technologies and Innovative Engineering.

From 1971 to 1990, she worked as a laboratory assistant, engineer, senior engineer at the Computing Center of Baku State University, from 1990 to 1997, she was a teacher, senior teacher at the Azerbaijan Higher College of Applied Sciences, and since 1997, she has been a senior teacher and associate professor at the Department of Information Technologies and Machines of the Western Caspian University. In 2007, she defended his candidate dissertation on the topic “Ways of teaching Informatics related to mathematics and physics” and received the scientific title of Doctor of Philosophy in pedagogy. Since 2011, she has been working as the head of the Department of Information Technologies and Machines of the Western Caspian University. PhD in Physics, Head of the Department Department of Mechanics and Mathematics

Education and Professional Experience: Durdana Rustamova was born on January 15, 1963, in the village of Qilishli, Kelbajar district. She received her secondary education at Qilishli village school from 1970 to 1980. From 1981 to 1986, she studied Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Azerbaijan Technical University and earned her degree as an electrical engineer. From 1986 to 2004, she worked as a technologist and adjustment engineer at the “Neftqazavtomat” experimental plant in Baku city. Between 2004 and 2010, she served as a senior lecturer at Azerbaijan International University. From 2010 to 2020, she worked as a lecturer at the Academies of the State Border Service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. In 2010, she was a postgraduate student at the Radiation Problems Institute. In 2016, she successfully defended her dissertation on "The effect of magnetic field and γ-radiation on the electroactive properties of polymer composites," earning the degree of PhD in Physics. Since 2020, she has been serving as Deputy Dean of the School of High Technologies and Innovative Engineering at West Caspian University. Since 2021, she has been the head of the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics at West Caspian University. She is the author of 39 scientific articles, textbooks, and course programs.

PhD in Biology, Head of the Department of Natural Sciences

Mammadov Ayaz Mammad was born on January 16, 1978 Zod village of Basarkechar region of Western Azerbaijan. In 1995, he graduated from secondary school No. 244 of Baku city. In 1995-1999, he received a bachelors degree from the Faculty of Zooengineering of the Azerbaijan Agricultural Academy, and in 1999-2001, he received a masters degree in the same specialty. In 2003, he entered the postgraduate course in genetics at the Institute of Genetic Resources of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. In 2010, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Currently, he is working on his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Sciences. He has participated in international conferences, seminars and symposiums in more than 15 countries. A. Mammadov worked as a junior research fellow at the Institute of Genetic Resources of ANAS in 2003-2006, as a leading consultant at the Ministry of Agriculture in 2006-2007, as a specialist and director of the center at the Information and Consulting Center of the State Agency for Agricultural Credits of the Ministry of Agriculture in 2007-2011, as a specialist in the food and agricultural laboratory of the State Agency for Standardization and Patents in 2011-2013, and as a department head at the Institute of Genetic Resources of ANAS in 2013-2022. He has published about 60 scientific articles and theses. He has been working at Western Caspian University since 2018.

Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Associate Professor, PhD in Biology

Fields of Academic Activity: Genetics Biochemistry Physiology Education and Professional Background: Saltanat Arshad gizi Aghayeva was born on January 1, 1972, in the Gubadli region of Azerbaijan. She received her undergraduate education at the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University between 1989 and 1994. From 2007 to 2010, she pursued her doctoral studies at the Institute of Physiology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). In 2012, she defended her dissertation titled "The effect of electromagnetic waves on the activity of the monoaminergic system in brain structures" and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology. From 2007 to 2016, Dr. Aghayeva worked as a research scientist at the Institute of Physiology of ANAS. Between 2016 and 2024, she served as a leading researcher at the Department of Biochemical Genetics and Genomics at the Institute of Genetic Resources. Concurrently, from 2003 to 2021, she held the position of senior lecturer at the Department of Teaching Methodology of Natural Sciences at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical College under the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, as well as at the Guba branch of the university. Since 2019, she has been serving as lecturer at the Department of Natural Sciences of Western Caspian University. From April to October 2022, she held the position of Head of the Life Sciences Department at Khazar University. By the decision of the Supreme Attestation Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in the field of Biology, specializing in Genetics. Currently, Dr. Aghayeva is an Associate Professor at the Department of Natural Sciences of the School of High Technologies and Innovative Engineering at Western Caspian University. She is the author of 1 textbook, more than 80 scientific articles, and several subject curricula.

Hasanov Khudayar Ismayil oglu was born in 1958. After graduating from Malibayli village secondary school in Shusha region, he entered the chemistry faculty of Azerbaijan State University (now BSU). In 1981, he graduated from that faculty and was sent to the Institute of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences (ANAS). In the same year, he was seconded to the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry in Moscow as an intern-researcher. He entered the postgraduate course of that institute on general grounds and defended his candidate dissertation there. In 2000, he defended his doctoral dissertation. In 2006, by the decision of the AAC, he was awarded the scientific title of professor. In 2006-2010, he was the deputy chairman of the expert council of the AAC on chemistry. Under his leadership, 7 people received the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in chemistry. He is the author of nearly 500 scientific articles, 8 monographs, 1 textbook, 3 methodological manuals, 7 patents (one Eurasian). He is a specialist in biocoordination chemistry (medicinal chemistry). He is currently a professor at the Department of Ecology and Environment.

     1963–cü ildə Azərbaycan Dövlət Universitetinin fizika fakültəsini bitirmiş və təyinatla Universitetdə saxlanılmışdır. 1964 – 1967-ci illərdə ADU–nun əyani aspirantı olaraq Leninqrad Sabit Cərəyan institutunda prof. L.A. Senanın rəhbərliyi altında Fiziki elektronika sahəsində tədqiqatlar aparıb. Bu istiqamətdə aldığı elmi nəticələr 40 ildir ki, müntəzəm olaraq böyük elmi-texniki layihələrin həllində (ion mühərriklərində və termonüvə reaktorlarında) geniş tətbiq olunduğundan mütəxəssislərə yaxşı məlumdur. Xüsusilə ABŞ–ın kosmik tədqiqatlar üzrə baş idarəsi NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) və AİAA (Amerika Aeronavtika və Astronavtika İnstitut) əməkdaşları kosmik gəmilər üçün ion mühərrikləri hazırlanmasında bu işlərdən geniş istifadə edirlər. Ş. Əsgərovun Azərbaycanda əsasını qoyduğu ikinci elmi istiqamət fiziki elektronika və mikroelektronikaya aid olan metal – yarımkeçirici kontaktının (MYK) öyrənilməsidir. 1974 –cü ildə Danimarkanın Texniki Universitetində bir illik staj keçmədə olarkən katod tozlanması sahəsində əldə etdiyi nəticələri metal – yarımkeçirici kontaktına tətbiq etmiş və kontakt üçün qeyri- bircins model təklif etmişdi. Tanınmış alimin fəlsəfi mövzulara da həsr olunmuş "Keçid dövrünə fəlsəfi baxış" (1998), "Milli birlik probleminə fəlsəfi baxış" (2001), "Təhsilimiz dünən, bu gün və sabah" (2003), "Düşüncə tərzi" (2008) və digər kitabları özünün yüksək ideya-məzmunu, analitik səviyyəsi, aktuallığı, problemlərə yanaşma üslubu, mənəvi-əxlaqi dəyərləri önə çəkməsi ilə diqqəti cəlb edir. Professorun 200-dən çox elmi, 700-dən artıq publisistik məqalənin, 11 kitabın, 3 monoqrafiyanın müəllifi olmasıdır. Onun nümuzmatika, kriminalistika və tətbiqi incəsənət sahələrində ixtira və patentləri var. Ş. Əsgərov 1995-2000-ci ildə, 2000-2005-ci ildə millət vəkili, 2000-2005-ci ildə Elm və təhsil məsələləri daimi komissiyasının sədri olmuşdur.

Professor, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences

Remizov Mikhail was born on May 19, 1972, in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. In 1989, he graduated from secondary school with a silver medal and earned an international certificate as a “Scientific and Technical Translator (English) with a speed of 3,500 characters per hour” after completing specialized studies in English-language grammar subjects. From 1989 to 1994, he pursued higher education at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Southern Federal University, graduating with distinction. In 2003, he earned the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (equivalent to PhD) in the specialty “Mechanics of Deformable Solid Bodies,” and in 2007, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor. In 2019, he received the Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences degree in the same field. He has served as an Associate Professor and Professor at universities in Russia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. Since October 7, 2024, he has been working at Western Caspian University.

Professor, Doctor of Physical Science

Aydın Qulubayov was born on October 4, 1955, in Baku city. In January 1983, A.M. Qulubeyov earned the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and in October 1994, he was awarded the Doctor of Sciences degree in Physics with a specialization in "Physics of Semiconductors and Dielectrics." He holds the ÖSYM YDS certificate in Russian (ranked first in Turkey from 2014 to 2018) and a NATO Security Certificate. From 1977 to 2024, he worked in various scientific and academic roles, including research scientist, senior research scientist, associate professor, and professor, at the Russian Military Industry, the Institute of Applied Physics, the Azerbaijan Academy of Construction and Architecture, the Turkish Scientific and Research Council, as well as at Muğla and Trakya Universities. The results of Prof. Dr. A.M. Qulubeyovs scientific research have been published in over 50 articles in local and international scientific journals indexed by SCI. Since October 2, 2024, he has been serving as a faculty member at the School of High Technologies and Innovative Engineering at Western Caspian University.

Associate Professor, PhD in Technical Sciences

Information about education and professional activities: Yahyayev Aydin Bilal oglu was born on February 19, 1958 in Khachmaz district. He graduated from secondary school in Khachmaz district in 1975. In 1976-1981, he studied at the Azerbaijan State Engineering and Construction University, specializing in “Wood Processing Technology” of the “Construction Technology” faculty. In 1981-1993, he worked as a subject teacher at the Baku Local Industrial Technological Technical School. During this period, he entered the full-time postgraduate course of the Belarusian Institute of Technology on a referral from the Technical School. He successfully completed it in 1986-1989 and defended his candidates thesis in 1990. In 1994-2018, he worked as an associate professor in the specialty “Forest materials and wood processing technology” at the Azerbaijan State Engineering and Construction University. As a result of his scientific research, he is the author of 100 scientific articles, 2 textbooks, 30 educational programs, 1 technological regulation, 1 technical condition, 1 scientific invention, 1 textbook. He is currently the head of the "Ecology and Environment" department at Western Caspian University.

Associate Professor, PhD in Mathematics

Esmira Nariman gizi Ahmadova was born in 1964 in Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan. She studied at school No. 53 in Baku from 1971 to 1981, graduating with a gold medal. From 1981 to 1986 she was a student at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of the Azerbaijan State University (now BSU), where she graduated with honors. In 1990 to 1994, she worked as an engineer-programmer at the Automated Control Systems (AIS) Department of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). In 1994-1997, she worked as a computer science teacher at the Technical and Humanitarian Sciences Lyceum No. 2 named after H. Mahmudbeyov. In 2001-2012, she worked as a senior research fellow at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, and taught various subjects at the Center for Educational Innovation of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. In 2003-2008, she was a doctoral student at the Department of Functional Analysis at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences. In 2008, under the supervision of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor H.M.Huseynov, she defended his candidates dissertation on the topic "Direct and Inverse Problems of Spectral Analysis for the Sturm-Liouville Operator with Discontinuous Coefficients" and received the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics. In 2012-2016, she worked as a mathematician at “Infospace” LLC. Since 2016, she has been working at the Western Caspian University, where he is an associate professor of the Department of "Information Technologies". She is the author of about 40 scientific and methodological works.

Chingiz Mammadov was born in 1962 in Kurdamir district. In 1979, he graduated from secondary school No. 2 of Kurdamir city, and in 1979, he continued his education at the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State University named after mvlomonosov. In 1991, he defended his candidate dissertation on the topic "The role of chemoreception in behavioral reactions of juvenile Kurinsky sturgeon (Acipenser gueldenstaedtii persicus Borodin)" and was awarded the title of Doctor of Philosophy in Biology. In 2009, he received the title of associate professor. Currently, he is a teacher at the Department of Human and Animal Physiology of Baku State University. Since 2024, he has been working as a part time teacher at the Western Caspian University.

I, Sadigov Ramil Ali, was born on November 2, 1983 in Fuzuli region in an intellectual family.  In the 1989-1990 academic year, I went to the first grade of Fuzuli district secondary school No. 3 named after Kh. Natavan. In 1992, due to the war, I moved to Baku and continued my education at Fuzuli District Secondary School No. 46 in Khatai District.   After graduating from high school with honors in the 1999-2000 academic year, I entered the Faculty of Geography of Baku State University in the same year, majoring in "Ecology, environmental protection and efficient use of natural resources." During my studies, along with the "excellent" scholarship, I was provided with a "special scholarship" by the rector, academician A. Maharramov. In the 2003-2004 academic year, I graduated from the University with honors, majoring in "Geographical Ecology" at the same faculty and continued my higher education with a masters degree, and in 2006 I graduated with honors. On January 15, 2007 , I entered the postgraduate-doctoral degree in "Soil Science " of the "Erosion and Irrigation Research Institute" of ANAS . During my 3 years as a graduate student, I worked hard on my dissertation, and after finishing the topic, I submitted it for defense. I am the author of 58 scientific articles and theses. My articles have been published in Azerbaijani, Russian and English, as well as in domestic and foreign literature.  On 15.01.2010-01.01.2011, I served in the military unit "N" of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Gadabay region (sergeant, sanitary instructor). From 02.04.2012 I worked as a leading specialist in the "Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Department" of the "Institute of Specialization and Professional Development" of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and from 31.10.2012 as the head of the same department. From 16.09.2013 I worked as a full-time assistant at the Department of "Hydraulic structures and hydraulics" of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, and from 15.09.2014 as a senior lecturer at the same department. In the 2016-2017 academic year, as a result of scientific reforms carried out within the University, in accordance with my specialty, I passed a competition at the Department of "Ecology" and worked as a full-time head teacher. Since the 2019-2020 academic year, I have been working as an associate professor at the Department of Petrochemical Technology and Industrial Ecology, Faculty of Chemical Technology, Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry. On 01.04.2014, he wrote a dissertation on the topic of “Thesis on the effect of the dissertation on the topic of“ EROSION PROCESSES IN THE MOUNTAINOUS AGRICULTURAL ZONE OF THE NORTH-EAST SLACE OF THE SMALL CAUCASUS IN THE MOUNTAINOUS AGRICULTURAL ZONE I have seen. In order to continue his scientific activity, starting from the 2015-2016 academic year, at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences , Academician G.Sh. Under Mammadovs scientific advice, I am conducting research on the topic of my doctoral dissertation in soil science and ecology.   Author of 78 scientific articles (in domestic and international publications); Supervisor of 32 bachelors and 26 masters; I have participated in various local and international projects. He has been an active employee of the Swedish National Science Center since 2011 and conducted research on fertilizers and pesticides in our country until 2015. We concluded the final meeting with a joint discussion of 8 countries in Tomsk, Russia. On 29 / 06-04 / 07/2015, I was an expert of the "International Summer School of Energy and Climate" held in Batumi, Georgia between students of the two countries .  13 / 07-19 / 07/2015 in Moscow, Russia “Water CAD-GEMS V8I. I represented our country at the training event organized by Bentley Systems.  In the 2015/2017 academic year, I participated in the GiNA ll / 7-C-Annex-Erasmus + HE Staff Mobility Agreement for teaching, a joint project of Khazar University and TC Kastamonu University , and gave lectures.    In the 2015/2017 academic year, I participated in the TEMPUS RETHINK project between the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and the University of Coruna in Spain, and gave lectures at the same University.  My advantages: In May 2018, I took the English Language Teaching Unit course organized by the University of Leicester, England.    I have been awarded a number of Certificates and Certificates of Appreciation.  “The international solutions of the ozone problem” Certificate-Baku, 2004 This certificate were given by the Azerbaijan National Academy of Science for the best published publication in the international scientific conference. Gabala (June 8-12, 2012)   Language services direct certificate of Achievement. Baku (October-2013 till January-2014) Training on FAO-methodology for Rapid Environmental Assessment of contaminated sites, October 16, 2014. Hasanova Saida Gasim was born in Baku in 1983. In 2004, she graduated from Nakhchivan State University with a degree in biology.He continued his masters degree here from 2006 to 2008.In 2015, he received his phd in Biology. He worked as a teacher at Yarimca village secondary school for 2 years, then worked as a senior consultant in the executive power of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 5 years.   Bashirov Shaban was born on July 2, 1954, in the village of Takla, Masalli district. In 1971, he was admitted to the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at the S.M. Kirov Azerbaijan State University, which was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. He graduated in 1976 with a degree in Mathematics and Mathematics Teaching. In 1992, he defended his dissertation on the topic “Determination of optimal values of parameters of technological processes in variable-structure finite systems” and was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences. From 1980 to 1995, he worked as a software engineer and research associate at the “Neftgazavtomat” Scientific-Production Enterprise. From 2018 to 2021, he served as a lecturer at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Since 2021, he has been a lecturer at the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics at Western Caspian University.

Leyla Agajavad gizi Javadova was born on April 29, 1972, in Baku. In 1989, she graduated from Secondary School No. 13 in Baku and was admitted to the Faculty of Chemistry at Baku State University in the same year. In 1994, she graduated with a degree in chemistry. She began her professional career in 1994. In 1999, she was admitted to the full-time postgraduate program at Baku State University and continued her scientific research. In 2007, by the decision of the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, she was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Chemical Sciences. Currently, she works as a lecturer at the Department of Ecology and Environmental Studies at Western Caspian University.

Academic Field of Interest: Celestial Mechanics Education and Professional Background: Sanan Habibov was born on May 1, 1951, in the village of Talabi, Quba District, Azerbaijan. He completed his secondary education between 1958 and 1968. In 1968, he was admitted to the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Azerbaijan State University. He graduated in 1973 with a degree in Mechanics. Starting from August 1, 1973, he began his professional career as a research scientist at the Nasreddin Tusi Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, where he worked until 2007. In 1987, he defended his PhD dissertation at the Peoples Friendship University of Russia (named after Patrice Lumumba) in Moscow and was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (equivalent to PhD). Since 2013, he has been serving as a lecturer at Western Caspian University. He is the author of more than 10 scientific articles published in international peer-reviewed journals.

Ulviyya Nizami gizi Karimova-Japharova was born on May 20, 1980, in Shamakhi city. She studied at Shamakhi City Secondary School No. 1 from 1986 to 1997. In 2001, she was admitted to the Faculty of Chemical Technology of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy. In 2005, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in “Oil, Gas, and Alternative Energy Technologies,” and in 2007 she completed her master’s degree in “Processing Technology of Hydrocarbon Gases” with honors. Her master’s thesis was titled “Catalytic Processing of C3–C4 Hydrocarbons Obtained from Oil Refining Processes.” In 2008, she was admitted to the full-time postgraduate program at the Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after Academician Yusif Mammadaliyev of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, specializing in "Oil-Gas-Coal Processing and Technology." Ulviyya Karimova-Japharova began her professional career in April 2008 as a junior researcher at the “Technology of Petrochemical Processes” laboratory at the Institute of Petrochemical Processes (ANAS). Between 2008 and 2017, she progressed from junior researcher to leading researcher. At the same time, she worked as a scientific secretary in the institute’s Scientific Council. She participated as an executor in four grant projects that won competitions organized by the Science Development Foundation under the President of Azerbaijan and SOCAR’s Science Foundation. In 2013–2014, she undertook a one-year scientific and practical internship at the Leibniz Institute for Catalysis at the University of Rostock in Germany, focusing on reaction mechanisms and heterogeneous catalysis, while also conducting research for her dissertation. In 2015, she successfully defended her PhD dissertation on the topic “Study of Hydrogen-Containing Gas Mixture Formation Processes Based on Water, Methane, and CO₂.” In 2016, she was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry by the decision of the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. She is the author of 70 scientific works, including 25 scientific articles, more than 40 theses presented at national and international conferences, symposiums, and forums, and 2 patents of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2021–2022, Ulviyya Karimova-Japharova worked as Deputy Dean of the School of High Technologies and Innovative Engineering at Western Caspian University. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Ecology and Environment. She is also actively involved in supervising scientific personnel at the university, and under her supervision, three master’s students have successfully defended their theses. Academic activities: Computer engineering Mathematical modeling Educational and professional information: Born in 1966 in the city of Sheki, Azerbaijan. He received his secondary education from 1973 to 1983 at secondary school No. 7 in Sheki. In 1983, he was admitted to the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (then called the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry), Faculty of Automation of Production Processes, majoring in “Applied Mathematics”. He served in the military service from 1984 to 1986. In 1990, he graduated from the University with honors and was assigned to the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and was hired as an engineer. In 1990–1994, he studied at the Institutes correspondence postgraduate school, and in 1995, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Modeling of non-isothermal adsorption processes of mylonaft and sulfanol in the porous medium of oil-bearing layers", and received the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences. In different years, he worked as a junior research worker, research worker, senior research worker, and leading research worker. Currently, he works as a leading research worker in the "Modeling of Chemical Technological Processes" laboratory of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry. He is an associate professor. He is the author of 73 scientific works, 48 of them are articles (31 abroad), 25 are theses. He has repeatedly participated in the grant project that won the competition of the Science Foundation of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Since 2012, he has been an associate professor of the Department of "Computer Technologies" of the Western Caspian University (first on a substitute contract, now on an hourly basis). Gurbanova Lala Maharram was born on September 12, 1973 in Baku. In 1980-1990, she received secondary education at school No. 18. In 1992-1997, she received higher education at the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University. In 1997-2001, she was a postgraduate student at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. In 2011, she defended her dissertation on the topic “Physical and chemical properties of catalase and peroxidase biomimetic sensors” under the supervision of academician TM Nagiyev and received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry. She was engaged in scientific activities at the scientific research institutes of ANAS “Molecular Biology and Biotechnology”, “Botany”, “Physiology”, “Problems of Chemistry”. He completed his secondary education between 1963 and 1973 and in the same year was admitted to the Faculty of Physics at Ganja State University. After graduating in 1977, he worked as a secondary school physics teacher until 1983. That year, he joined the Department of "Semiconductors and Dielectrics" at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) as a senior laboratory assistant. In 1987, he was admitted to the full-time PhD program in the same department and completed his studies in 1990. In 1996, he defended his candidate dissertation on the topic “The Influence of Samarium and Dysprosium on Electron Transport Processes in Indium Antimonide” at the Institute of Photoelectronics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, earning the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (equivalent to PhD). In January 2008, he was appointed Senior Lecturer at the Department of Natural and Fundamental Sciences of the Mingachevir Branch of the Azerbaijan Institute of Teachers. In 2009, he became Head of the Department of Natural Sciences, and from July 17, 2012, to August 25, 2015, he served as Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the branch. He later held the position of Head of the Department of Mathematics and Informatics at Mingachevir State University and continued his academic and pedagogical activities as an Associate Professor. Since September 2019, he has been a lecturer at the Department of Natural Sciences at Western Caspian University. From 2020 to July 2022, he served as the Head of the Department of Mathematics and Physics. He is currently a faculty member at the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics. He is the author of 44 scientific articles, 2 textbooks, and 2 methodological manuals.

Mikayilov Aruz Metaf oglu was born in 1984. He graduated from high school in 2001. In 2001-2005, he completed his bachelors degree in "Geography Teaching" at the Faculty of Geography of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. In 2005-2007, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Geography of Baku State University, majoring in "Geomorphology". In 2007-2010, he received full-time doctoral education at the Faculty of Geography of Baku State University in the specialty "Physical Geography and Biogeography, Soil Geography, Landscape Geophysics and Geochemistry". Rajabova Sevinj Saadat was born on June 21, 1988 in Baku. She received her phd in biological sciences in 2024. She works as a senior research fellow at the ARETN Institute of Zoology. He has published more than 30 scientific works (articles, atlases, theses, books), several of which are in print. 1 scientific work was published in the National Atlas of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 2 articles were published in highly rated foreign journals, 1 thesis was also published abroad, and he is one of the co-authors of the book "Information system of the fauna of Azerbaijan (vertebrates)". He was born in 1954 in the Dmanisi region of Georgia. Humbatov Mahmud Farzali was born on September 25, 1954 in the Republic of Georgia. In 1971-1975, he graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of Ganja State University, specializing in biology teaching. In 1975-1977, he worked as a teacher in the Kalbajar region, in 1978 he was admitted to the postgraduate course of the Institute of Physiology named after A. Garayev of ANAS, in 1984 he defended his dissertation entitled “Obtaining hybrids of Kursk bream and Amur whitefish and comparative study of their development conditions in early ontogenesis” and was awarded the scientific degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences. In 1984-1988, he worked as a research worker at the same institute, and in 1988-1990, he worked as a department head at the Rural Chemical Union. Aynura Pashayeva graduated with honors from the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University in 2013 and her masters degree in "Genetics" in 2015. In 2022, Aynura Pashayeva defended her dissertation on "Light-induced proteome and metabolome changes in cereal plants" at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS to receive a phd in "Molecular Biology". After receiving her phd in Biology, Aynura Pashayeva worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Molecular Biology of Pusan ​​National University, Republic of Korea. Her research is devoted to the study of short- and long-term molecular adaptations of photosynthetic organisms to environmental changes. Since 2024, Aynura Pashayeva has been working as the Head of the International Proteomics Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Her research focuses on studying the mechanisms of adaptation of photosynthetic organisms to various stress factors at the proteome and metabolome levels, as well as developing new strategies to increase stress resistance. For her achievements in scientific activity, Aynura Pashayeva was awarded the Honorary Order of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) "For Distinction in Scientific Activity" in 2017. She is also a member of the International Society for Photosynthesis Research (ISPR) and the American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB). She has presented papers at conferences held in countries such as Japan, Korea, Pakistan, and Tajikistan. In addition, she works as a reviewer for a number of local and international journals.

Aysel Fataliyeva was born on January 1, 1988. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. She began her teaching career in 2009 and has taught courses such as "Web Programming" and "Machine Learning with Python" in the SABAH groups at Baku State University and Azerbaijan Technical University. At present, she teaches programming at Western Caspian University, Azerbaijan Technical University, and Khazar University. She has received STEAM education in Israel and is one of the trainers of the "STEAM Azerbaijan" and "Digital Skills" projects. Additionally, she was the winner in the individual category with a “Data Science” project in a grant competition organized by the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan.

Adilagha Malikov was born on November 16, 1956 in Jalilabad, Azerbaijan. In 1964, he entered Nizami Secondary School No. 1 in Jalilabad, graduating in 1974. After graduating from the Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) Forestry Technical Academy in 1974-1979, he worked at the State Forestry Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan until 1981, the Ministry of Forestry from 1981-1989, the "Azerbmesha" Production Association from 1989-2001, and from December 13, 2001 to June 19, 2014, in the Forest Development Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in various positions (forester, chief forester, director, chief consultant), and from June 19, 2014, he was transferred to "Azeryashlandshaft" OJSC. Until February 2021, he worked as the head of the staff at "Azerlandshaft" OJSC, and from February to November, he was the head of the greening and landscape design department. In 2021, he was awarded the "Progress" medal by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his services in greening the city of Baku and surrounding areas. He has been working as a teacher at the Department of "Natural Sciences" of Western Caspian University since September 2022. He currently continues his teaching activities at the Department of "Ecology and Environment" of the same university.

Fields of Academic Activity: Technical Sciences Education and Professional Background: Elnarə Firdus was born on March 27, 1969, in Baku city. She completed her secondary education at School No. 52 from 1976 to 1986. In 1986, she enrolled at Azerbaijan Technical University and graduated in 1991 with honors in the specialty of “Machine-Building Technology.” After graduation, she was appointed as a research intern at the Department of Automated Design Systems. Since 2012, she has served as an academic advisor at the Faculty of “Special Equipment and Technology,” established to train personnel for the Defense Industry Complex of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2014, she completed training courses organized by Azerbaijan State University on the “Fundamentals of organizing education according to the Bologna Process and credit system, and management of the educational process” aligned with the regulations of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, successfully earning a certificate of distinction. Since 2015, she has been teaching technical subjects (“Theoretical Mechanics,” “Strength of Materials,” “Metrology, Standardization and Certification,” “Theory of Machines and Mechanisms,” and “Machine-Building Technology”) at the Academy of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan. In 2020, she successfully passed certification organized by Azerbaijan University of Economics on the “Fundamentals of organizing education according to the Bologna Process and credit system, and management of the educational process,” in line with the Ministry of Educations regulations. Since 2021, she has been working as a lecturer at the “Mechanics and Mathematics” Department of Western Caspian University. Elvin Qurbanov was born on July 5, 2000, in Baku. He studied at Secondary School No. 126 from 2006 to 2017. In 2017, he was admitted to the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) for a bachelors degree, which he completed with distinction in 2021. That same year, he began his masters studies at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and successfully graduated in 2023. In 2023, he was admitted to the doctoral program at the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Throughout his academic journey, he has participated in various academic projects and conducted research in the fields of information technology and programming. He has achieved significant results in the field of artificial intelligence and programming. In addition to his research, he actively engages in teaching programming and new technologies at the university level. Dr. Asmer Valiyeva is an accomplished chemist and academic with extensive experience in teaching and research. She was born on March 11, 1986, in Baku, Azerbaijan. She completed her secondary education at School No. 54 in Baku in 2003. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Baku State University in 2007 and her master’s degree from the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University in 2009. In 2010, Dr. Valiyeva began her professional career as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Chemistry and Inorganic Substances Technology at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). In 2012, she was admitted as a doctoral student in Physical Chemistry at ASOIU, where she also worked as a scientific researcher at the “New Chemical Materials and Technologies” laboratory until 2022. Her research contributions span a broad range of chemical sciences, and she is the author of 30 scientific publications. Currently, Dr. Valiyeva is continuing her academic journey by pursuing a second master’s degree at the Italy-Azerbaijan University under ADA University, within the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Systems Management (AFSM). In her current role, she teaches various courses including General Chemistry, Physical and Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry. She is married and a mother of two.

From 1995 to 1999, she pursued her bachelors degree in Geography at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.In 2006–2007, she studied History at the Baku Institute for Advanced Training of Pedagogical Personnel.Between 2007 and 2009, she completed her masters degree in Landscape Studies at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. From 2014 to 2017, she continued her education as a doctoral student at the Institute of Geography named after Academician H. Since 2021, she has worked at ASOIU as a laboratory assistant, head of laboratory, and lecturer. In 2024, she worked as a researcher at a Scientific Research Institute. She is the author of 14 scientific publications, including articles and theses. Since 2021, Gunel Mammadli has been working as the Project Manager of the Programming Group at the Azerbaijan Technical University. She has also been engaged in teaching activities at higher education institutions since 2022. In 2024, she began her pedagogical career as a lecturer at Western Caspian University. She has participated as a mentor in the "Skills for the Future" project. In 2022, the team she mentored achieved first place in Azerbaijan and won third place at the WRO (World Robot Olympiad) held in Dortmund, Germany. In 2023, the team she led won first place in a startup competition among 12 universities.

Narmina Rufat Abdullayeva was born on April 27, 1980 in Baku. From 1987 to 1997, she received secondary education at school No. 248. In 2002, she graduated from the “Chemical Technologies” Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University with a bachelors degree, and in 2004, she graduated from the masters degree. She continued her research in the scientific field at the Y.H. Mammadaliyevs Institute of Petrochemical Processes of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Having successfully defended her PhD dissertation in 2010 on the topic “Synthesis of fuel components and additives based on natural organic acids, study of their antistatic properties”, she received the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Technical Sciences in the specialty 1-18-03 – “Chemistry and Technology of Fuel”. In 2016, she was awarded the scientific title of Associate Professor. In 2021, she defended his dissertation titled “Development of preservation fluids based on phenol-formaldehyde resins modified with imidazoline fragment amines” and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Sciences in 2022 in the specialty 4-00-13-Petroleum Chemistry. She has repeatedly delivered reports at international and republican scientific conferences, and was the winner of the 3rd Young Scientists Grant Competition announced by the Science Development Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In connection with the 70th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, she was awarded the “Honorary Decree” of the Department of Chemical Sciences of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, taking into account her long-term productive scientific and scientific-social activities. The results of her scientific research are reflected in 46 scientific articles, 57 theses and 1 certificate of authorship. She is married and has one child.

Qorxmaz Mustafayev, son of Nuraddin, was born on August 10, 1991, in Sheki, Azerbaijan. From 1997 to 2008, he studied at Secondary School No. 17 in Sheki. He pursued his higher education in Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of Qafqaz University from 2008 to 2013. He began his academic career at Qafqaz University in 2016. From 2017 to 2019, he continued his academic activity at Baku Engineering University. Since 2020, he has been teaching in the SABAH groups of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, and from 2021, he has also been teaching at Western Caspian University. Shahbaz Mammadhuseyn oglu Shiraliyev was born on 02.12.1972 in the village of Adnaly, Jalilabad region. He completed his secondary education in the village of Adnaly, where he was born, in 1979-1989, and in 1989 he received higher education in Chemistry and Biology at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University named after Nasreddin Tusi (then named after V.I.Lenin). He worked as a teacher in the village of Adnaly from 1995 to 2005. In 2005-2023, he worked as the deputy director of the Absheron Regional Forest Seedling and Seed Center of the Forest Development Service of the "Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources", and as the director of the Ismayilli Forest Protection and Restoration Enterprise. During his work at the MENR, he participated in scientific and practical seminars on sustainable forest management and the establishment of a modern nursery complex in the Republic of Turkey in 2014 and 2022. Since September 2023, he has been accepted as a lecturer in forestry at the Department of "Natural Sciences" of the Western Caspian University. Currently, he works as a lecturer at the Department of "Ecology and Environment" of the same University.

Ulkar Rauf Gadiyeva graduated from Secondary School No. 56 in the Khatai district in 2007. In 2011, she completed her bachelors degree in “Land Reclamation, Recultivation and Soil Protection” at the Faculty of Ecology and Natural Resource Use of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. In 2013, she obtained her masters degree in Ecology at the Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science of Baku State University. She began her professional career in 2014 at the Institute of Genetic Resources of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, in the department of Ecobotany and Systematics. Later, she worked as a research scientist in the Laboratory of Irrigated Land Reclamation and Ecology of the Institute of Erosion and Irrigation, as well as in the Laboratory of Agrochemical Soil Research and Mass Analysis of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry. Since 2014, she has served as the Director of the Center for Ecological Initiatives, a Non-Governmental Organization. In 2017, she was admitted to the doctoral program in Soil Science at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Based on her ongoing dissertation research, she has published articles in both local and international journals. Throughout her education and career, as a young scientific researcher, she has participated in numerous scientific conferences, trainings, and projects, and has completed training courses in accordance with the ISO 14001:2004 Standard. In 2020, she attended English language courses at Sutton College (ESOL) in London, UK, and obtained relevant certificates. She is currently a lecturer at the Department of Ecology and Environment of Western Caspian University.
